Cork and Orrery, Earl of

Was born in 1861. He served in South Africa during the Boer War with the Imperial Yeomanry. He possesses the historic Orrery Jewel connected with the accession of James I.

Though not taking part in yacht-racing, he devotes much time to cruising in home waters and in the Mediterranean on board his fine s.y. Isa, 247 tons. This boat was built by Messrs. Black and Noble at Montrose.
